Your partner in green projects
Gloco is dedicated to creating green spaces that grow in harmony with nature. Our passion for horticulture and biodiversity guides every project we help you bring to life.
As a Seed Import Conformity Assessor (SICA), we select and import the best seeds in bulk to create unique signature seed mixes.
Our lawn and flower seeds and high-quality Herbionik, Bionik, Eco-Rustik and Permagreen fertilizers are designed to meet all your needs and cultivate healthy green spaces in Quebec’s climate.
When creating seed mixes and other products, we always ensure that they support biodiversity, encourage pollinators and maintain the balance of our ecosystems.
Our Bionik products, as one example, are created using bark residues and marine waste. This manufacturing process promotes the circular economy and reflects our dedication to sustainable, eco-friendly horticulture.
Together, we can make our living spaces greener, healthier and more beautiful.
Gloco: 100 years of innovation in horticulture
Founded on November 11, 1919, by Jules Legault Sr., Gloco represents a century of dedication to the environment and the creation of greener spaces. Gloco is a Montreal-based company that is proudly Quebecois and is focused on the future, with biodiversity at the core of its horticultural product range.
In its early days, the company, under the name Globe Trading Company, specialized in the import and sale of agricultural products. In 1960, Gloco established its position as an industry leader in the production of high-quality, low-maintenance seed mixes.
Gloco has since grown over the decades, adapting to new challenges while remaining committed to its values of quality and sustainability. This approach has positioned Gloco as a trusted leader in horticulture, valued by both professionals and home gardeners. Since 1980, our products have expanded to over 250 garden centres across the province.
In 2016, we strengthened our commitment to the environment by launching our Bionik line, a collection of entirely organic fertilizers and compost made in Quebec.
